This custom artwork celebrates a personal story of connection and shared experience. The Wi(ne)ld West reflects meaningful time spent between California and Colorado and brings together memory, place, and emotion.
The layered paper pulp elements symbolize rebirth and new beginnings and come from the artist’s Bloom series, which explores renewal and growth. The colors of the pulp elements were inspired by the unique sunsets of each state. The left… panel reflects California, with warmer coastal tones influenced by the Pacific light and expansive horizons. The right panel reflects Colorado, with cooler hues inspired by mountain landscapes and high elevation skies.
A cork “bridge” connects the two panels, created from wine corks collected through shared moments in both states. This bridge symbolizes travel, transition, and the experiences that unite two places into one continuous story.
« It takes a lot of passion to be an artist; art has no end point of perfection and you must constantly evolve and learn. I intend for each viewer to feel an emotional response to my works by sharing through my universe of artistic expression. »
