About this artwork
This acrylic on cardboard artwork "An Important Call on the Beach" was created in July 2022 in the summer studio of Oliver Szax. The piece has a matching antique wooden frame that is included in the price of the artwork. The total size of the painting including the frame is 47x39x2cm.
As of the subject matter, let me quote the opinion that of one of Szax's British collectors shared about this artwork:
"...great painting which also made me smile.… We all have been subjected to those self-important people speaking too loud on their mobiles about stuff no one cares to hear."
Original and unique work, it comes with artist's certificate of authenticity. The authenticity of the work and the quality are guaranteed.
This piece is part of Oliver Szax's exclusive series "The Glory of Decay": restored, renovated wooden (mostly antique) picture frames (treasures that Szax mainly hunts down at flea markets) are given a new life by matching modern, contemporary paintings.

« Even if the successful creation is accomplished, an eternal and obstinate duality is born: the creative process is as short as a moment, and it is also never-ending. »
Oliver Szax is a prizewinning Hungarian painter with international exposure. His background in the field of graphic design can be seen in his geometric abstraction works which combine simple shapes with color and show to create multi-dimensional structures. Szax's work explores relations, tension and balance which are represented through unique color combinations and proportions. His work is minimalist, panted in a realistic-expressionist and sometimes surrealist style. Oliver's work's have an unusual atmosphere that keeps audiences returning to his work again and again.
