In France, she can be found under the names of Merlusse (Vosges)[1], Mère Lousine (Côte d'Or), Merluisaine (Champagne)...: this name refers to several great legendary themes, such as the water nymph, the being of the land, the genius who inhabits a certain place, the succubus who comes from the diabolical world…
