About this artwork
I am fascinated by the concepts of consciousness, quantum physics, and the realities and connections in and of the universe with potential for life on ‘super-earth’ type planets, about which we know so little. I use my artistic process to investigate these concepts through the simple medium of paint on canvas, but I find this a great way of expressing and evoking these and other ideas in myself and the viewer.
My art is the area between my conception… and others, so it presents a space in which the potential for separation and togetherness between us is realised.
Although ‘Black Holes Create Parallel Universes’ s filled with various unusual and fantastic forms, it is broadly composed of four different regions that represent separate dimensions accessed by means of four black holes that are visible in the painting. It is unclear whether these regions and black holes are spatially connected or not. They may be very far apart or very interrelated and near.
« My dream is to be recognized as a great Turkish woman artist in history, I spend every moment of my life with this aim. »
