About this artwork
Each painting requires a different amount of time to complete. I really enjoyed seeing how the spray paint highlighted the volumes of the black colour. It was as if suddenly I could see through the blues and observe what was invisible in the black yesterday.
This is like a part of life, where a situation or a person comes along and helps us realize what was in a place or what a situation was. Have you ever discovered the beauty or the pain of something… thanks to someone else? How have you learned the most important things in your life? What are the most important things in your life?
The beauty of the blue (in the second picture) is that it reveals the details of the black. Black is essential because of its dark colour, but with the addition of blue, the volume of black is revealed, which was not visible before when I was painting in the studio. I had to bring them out.
