About this artwork
Late afternoon atmosphere on the edge of a pearly opaline cliff.
Acrylic on 2-layer anti-UV varnished canvas.
Tones of payne gray (softened black), beige, pearly white and light pearly translucent blue.
You will notice differences in tones and reflections following the attached photos. For example, in the main photo, the sea is pearly white while in different lighting (other photos) it has a slight turquoise reflection. The same goes for the sky… as we move in front of the painting, the reflections of the clouds change.
Finally, in the plant on the left, we find touches of gold and silver.
All this gives you a changing picture depending on the moment, brightness and viewing angle.

Pascal Macé, self-taught captivated by colors, mainly uses acrylic and various mixed techniques in his works.
