About this artwork
Abstraction on linen canvas created in a dynamic of spontaneity. Blue, pink and white as well as material and pigments enhanced with gold highlight everything and give a “goldish” appearance to the work. This canvas will fit naturally into your interior, giving it a joyful and bright note. Small in size, it can easily be placed on a small section of wall. It is sold varnished and ready to be installed on the wall (hangers provided for this purpose).
I define myself as an “emotion seeker”. What I like: above all the color, ... but also the material, the texture! Whatever my starting subject, I like to seize the moment, to associate the spontaneity of the gesture with the will to tame the material. I use pure or saturated color in wash... I let it circulate, I apply layers upon layers, I scrape, I search, I do not control everything that happens.... and finally I find. My universe oscillates between figuration and abstraction, using pigments, ink, acrylic and/or watercolor which allow me fluidity and real freedom in my work, a work of superpositions of materials and colors which is constantly evolving.
