About this artwork
This time, the body opens itself, surrenders. Legs spread wide towards the sky, like a desperate plea or an offering, while the head, still rooted to the earth, seems to seek an anchor or a buried secret. The pose is both vulnerable and powerful: a tension between surrender and resistance. The colors vibrate, almost violently, underscoring the rift between two worlds. Is it a fall? A rebirth? A sacred dance where the body becomes the bridge between…
the visible and the invisible? The spread of the legs evokes openness—to suffering, to grace, or perhaps to a form of freedom that can only be achieved by letting go. This sculpture poses the question: how far can one stretch between two opposing forces without breaking? Between the weight of the earth and the call of the void, the body becomes the stage for a silent yet flamboyant struggle!
