About this artwork
I was in the South of France and the beautiful blue of the
sea and the town of St Tropez lay in front of me which I could see through the trees. This see view and the town looked amazing. I have tried capture the heat of the day and the blue of the sea with this pastel artwork.

Patricia Clements is a British contemporary artist who lives and works in London. She a scholarship student at West Sussex College of Arts and Crafts and later studied at the Central School of Art, where she was influenced by then Head of Painting, Leslie Cole. Clements paints landscapes, cityscapes and still lifes. Her work is characterized by strong lines and shapes as well as the use of bright, dense colors.
