About this artwork
An empty stage, dreamlike characters appear, perform a silent spectacle, take refuge in a poetic gesture, and then continue on their way. I sought to create an intimate atmosphere with the colors and intense substance of oil pastels.

Patricia Silva is a Uruguayan painter, draftsman, and visual artist, trained since childhood and a graduate of the Faculty of Arts of Uruguay, with extensive international experience. She uses figurative-expressionist and symbolist techniques, also incorporating abstract-expressionist; her style is characterized by a bold palette and vibrant colors.
