About this artwork
One of the key drawings in the direction of large-format drawing.
In this work, the elements of humans, animals, and plants meet.
The focus of almost all my work. They merge into a complex figure in a garish pose.
An interplay between our origins and domestication.
Here too, everything originates from a primal force – a fine line, emerging from nothingness. Always poised between the states of the here and now, yet also in a state of dissolution… – embodied in gesture – and yet natural.
Strength and sensitivity, softness in a juxtaposition.
The portrait emerges in the spaces between the joined parts.
