She rendered herself a volunteer,a ready to go model, had empathy for this young globetrotting young man who was out in search of opportunities as an Artist in a strange,… totally new, reclaimed land from the sea, cold and gray-weathered country,where the city was built on water along canals, the Cosmopolitan City Amsterdam. This great Dutch capital brought people of all color, creed,and cultures together. Paul Akiiki is an award-winning artist based in Uganda whose paintings have been exhibited in Germany and the United States. His striking contemporary abstract works most often center around the elemental themes of love, energy, nature, and fantasy. In his artistic process, Akiiki creates using oils and acrylics on canvas and cardboard, employing palette knives, spatulas, and brushes.
