The new based on the traditional.
To create this “Wonderland” I’m using double exposed negative film with the cult classic Olympus OM-1 camera.
Some magic power is constructing… a new world alongside me.
It is impossible to predict precisely what you will end up with after rolling your film back and exposing again in a different city.
This natural way of taking a picture without any digital manipulation pays respect to the traditional photo process.
Pavel Golovkin, a photographer and visual artist with a background in professional photojournalism and visual storytelling, uses color photography—eschewing manipulation and AI—to build imaginative worlds rooted in reality.
