About this artwork
In front of the mirror of the soul the mask falls, the face is revealed, decays, transmutes and blood flows profusely.
The scene takes place in the middle of a decaying landscape where Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Blood and Death collide (The barred window in the black part at the top right)
At the center of the work is represented the Pyramid, the central nerve of the painting symbolizing the summit of Power, its contours are white veins which penetrate… and animate the individual.
The work also has a premonitory dimension, it was produced just before the COVID crisis, we can see (written on the left) NEWS upside down, a few months later wearing a mask had become compulsory in the city.

- Works on commission
Pejman Ebadi, self-taught since his Parisian childhood, uses acrylic as his medium. His distinct style blends the abstract and the figurative, questioning the animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms through the exploration of his subconscious. Ebadi instills an emotional duality, alternating between shadow and light, to evoke deep emotions, sometimes revealing traces of shamanism throughout his work.
