About this artwork
I painted these asparagus the day after a night when the Northern Lights multiplied in France, a very unusual phenomenon for us...it was also during my "zero waste painting" period, so I only painted on scraps of wood or cardboard. I really liked this contrast between the icy blue of the asparagus, which could recall the ice floe, and the bright pink of the sky. There are some glitters in the sky paint to represent the stars.
