About this artwork
This artwork depicts a lemon tree. In life if we are given lemons we should make lemonade from them. We are currently receiving a lot of lemons from living in America. I know this will pass, and we must stay positive. In Sicily where my family is from the lemons are sweet. I hope to go back there soon and taste the sweet life again.

Peter Locascio is an American artist whose works have been widely exhibited in the United States. He believes that creating art is more of a spiritual journey than a materialistic one. Locascio's compositions are inspired by Aboriginal, Native American, and Hindu art forms, etc. While some of his pieces convey narratives, others are simply whimsical. He favors painting with oils on canvas.
