About this artwork
It is a duo, a work by 2 artists directed by Petr Beranek with the 2nd artist Didier Guth from Strasbourg. The work was printed on Petr Beranek's printing press. The print series DUO was shown for the first time at the Affordable Artfair in Brussels in February 2023 with great success. Furthermore, at the Arte Fusion Stuttgart in April, then at diekunst.art in Grenzach-Wyhlen in June, then at the Strassburger St'art in the justBEE gallery in November…
and finally in December 2023 at the justBEE gallery in Masevaux. A multi-page, numbered catalog already exists. When purchasing a work, the buyer receives the catalog with a dedication.
The work LINTHTAL was photographed by Beranek in the Linthtal near Uznach and then printed on paper using his well-known gumprint technique. The two artists print with opaque color on color with volume. This causes the opaque print to “float” on top of the other color

Petr Beranek is a painter and printmaker based in Switzerland whose works have been exhibited nationally, in France, Germany, and Belgium. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as LA CÔTE, SCHWETZINGER ZEITUNG, 24HEURES, etc. Beranek often explores topics related to American life as well as subjects that are currently relevant.
His distinctive abstractions are created with acrylics, enriched with Kremer pigments.
