About this artwork
This work of art was inspired by an afternoon walk in September. Summer is giving way to autumn and the leaves are starting to turn red. The evening light envelops the landscape in warm light, a mood that I really appreciate. In my abstract work, I have applied liquid acrylic paints, stains, spray paints and inks to the canvas with expressionistic, dynamic gestures. Warm autumn tones contrast with cool shades of blue.
