I AM SAFE - I am safe.
A few years ago, I painted a picture titled "I am not safe." Even though times are even more uncertain, even crazier, this painting expresses the idea that if you are at peace with yourself, you can still feel safe. The warm, cozy blanket, the pink sky, the pink clouds like cotton candy: everything offers the young woman, who wraps herself in this blanket, protection. From the outside world.
I painted this picture to a song… on repeat, as I do with every piece of work. The song playing in this painting is "GUTEN TAG, LIEBES GLÜCK" by Max Raabe and Lea.
A song I still love after listening to it 3000 times because it radiates so much positivity and warmth. Like some kind of magic, the energy always finds its way into my paintings while I'm working.
Yes, these are crazy times. But you can find peace, tranquility, and protection within yourself. And inner strength.
PS: The young woman's hair is golden and shines beautifully in the sunlight.
