Meadows and houses follow one another in the corner of the eye
as I try to focus on the girl
sitting in front of me. Many things enter the corner of the eye.
A house that I recognize, a canal, a cow and even
the rumination and the empty look of the animal which tends
neck disturbed by an unknown… noise.
Or who tenses up while waiting for a sign?
Animals multiply on the outskirts.
Resign themselves to these swampy lands which are sinking
with their repulsive houses only one by one
I once lived there. The girl is holding a book.
