Philippe Bulasch began as a self-taught artist in analog black and white photography before dedicating himself intensively and exclusively to the art of intaglio printing and etching since 2013. His experience ranges from drypoint to etching and mezzotint, and he enjoys experimenting with combining techniques, materials, and colors. His works depict motifs of human existence that combine melancholy, morbidity, vulnerability, and contradiction, inspiring the viewer to look beyond the surface and reflect deeply.
