About this artwork
This painting was born as a dive into an imaginary aquatic universe. The fish, all different in their shapes and colors, draw a circle, almost a dance, around a central heart. This heart is for me the source of life, the invisible link that unites each being.
I didn't try to represent the sea as it is, but as I feel it: vibrant, joyful, full of energy. I like the idea that everyone can see their own journey, their own story, and that this circle… of colors invites contemplation and dreaming.

Philippe Seigle, a painter based in France, has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Brazil, Italy, the United States, Mexico, and Morocco. Having lived in several exotic countries, Seigle was influenced by and has kept his penchant for bright colors. Describing himself as a naive colorist, his compositions feature characters whose paths intersect. His vibrant pieces are created using acrylics on canvas.
