I painted this face as a source of light.
I wanted him to exude a warming presence, a soothing presence.
Her large eyes do not look outwards, but towards what is softest in us: the part that seeks peace, the part that wants to love.
The open mouth carries an inner smile, a smile that makes no noise but illuminates.
It's the light that flows when you finally feel safe.
The shapes, the colors, the spirals: everything here is a movement towards… clarity, towards the simple beauty of being alive.
Even the cat and the crow, often associated with shadows, become luminous allies in this painting, guardians who watch over with tenderness.
In creating this work, I sought to bring forth a profound goodness, a goodness that radiates without imposing, that opens a space where one can breathe more freely.
