About this artwork
This work embodies passion and mystery, a chromatic journey between heaven and earth. With touches of acrylic, I created a semi-abstract visual experience that explores the duality of existence. The fiery deep red and dreamy darkness invite the viewer into a world of profound emotions, inspiring introspective and thought-provoking reflections. By bringing this energy into the home environment, the spirit is invited to dance with the contrasts of… life.
« Painting is an open window onto parallel worlds, it is a journey with multiple directions. The artist chooses their own itinerary and destination. »
Pier Maurizio Greco, an award-winning Italian painter, has exhibited widely in Rome, as well as in Slovenia, Turkey, China, Germany and Switzerland. What fascinates Greco is what remains on the surface, the border and the trace, the place where objective reality and abstraction meet. He creates using acrylics and plastic polymers in an aqueous solution. He paints with flat brushes, sometimes removing the color with wet rags and sandpaper.
