In my work, I wanted to capture the essence and impetuous spirit of Giuseppe Verdi, using a fusion of acrylic, oil, and pencil techniques to evoke both the strength and vulnerability of his character. The use of charcoal and ink intensifies the tormented depth of his eyes, which seem to challenge the viewer, while the nuances of pen and graphite weave his works into the fabric of the portrait.
