Sugar and Shadows entsteht aus dem Dialog zwischen Struktur und Vergänglichkeit. Die weichen, rosigen Schichten treffen auf erdige, verwitterte Flächen, die Spuren von Zeit, Veränderung und innerer Bewegung tragen. Linien, Tropfen und eingeritzte Markierungen wirken wie Erinnerungen an etwas, das sich auflöst und zugleich neu formt.
Das Werk ist Teil meiner Serie, in der ich erforsche, wie fragile Formen, Farbe und Material aufeinander reagieren… – zwischen Halt und Loslassen, zwischen dem, was bleibt, und dem, was sich mit der Zeit verändert.
