About this artwork
The landscapes are not painted in nature, but are based on collected memories and notes that the artist made during his trip. According to the artist, any concretization in an abstract landscape diminishes its philosophical meaning and turns it into a simple reflection of nature. The pictures in this series are painted in several layers with high-quality oil paint. In the end, they are covered with UV protection from the occlusal brain.
« Abstract painting is the ability to realistically paint something that doesn't exist. »
Plamen Bibeschkov is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally, in Belgium and the Netherlands. His art translates the eternal struggle between darkness and light, as well as the contrasts between the storm and calm, the line and the spot, rough and soft, and warm and cold tones. Bibeschkov's striking abstract compositions are created using oils and acrylics on canvas.
