About this artwork
The artist on her work: "Life - is a riddle that has been puzzled since childhood."
The child's hands spin a magic Rubik's cube. That is an unusual puzzle. The motifs on the sides of the cube are symbolic images: First there is a clock, which of course stands for time, it also stands for the ability to handle time. The heart means the knowledge of one's own body and physiology. The rings are a symbol of relationships with others. The green leaves… - for the connection to nature. The mechanical wheels - for the mechanisms and regulations of our society. And finally, the soap bubbles represent the joy of life and emotions.
Framed in a high quality wooden frame painted in wine red. The frame was developed by the artist to match the work together with the craftsman.
« Life is a riddle that surprises me again and again, I strive to understand it. »
