About this artwork
The painting is dedicated to Ukraine. Ukraine is an independent European state in which a war is happening right now, which is destroying the lives of millions of people.
Inspired by the image go Joan of Arc, the artist portrayed a warrior woman who takes on the responsibility to defend her people.
This is the part of a series of the paintings about becoming a warrior. In the painting the woman is just about to become a warrior. By taking the… sword she is preparing to pronounce the knight's oath. The part with the prayer-oath is depicted on the next artwork.
As an artist, she have her own front and her own line of defense for her country🙏🇺🇦✊
Peace to Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!
Slava Ukraïni! 💙💛
