About this artwork
This artwork delivers a striking abstraction of environmental transformation. The composition radiates with a dominant field of yellow, evoking the relentless heat of an intensifying sun. The soft whites represent melting snow, fragile remnants of polar purity dissolving under rising temperatures and while the stark black strokes symbolize the vanishing forests and charred landscapes of a warming planet.
Painted in 2009, this work marks… my first exploration in Global Warming Series, capturing not just the visual essence of climate change but its emotional gravity through a vivid, abstract language of color and form. My bold color choices and expressive minimalism reveal an early awareness of humanity’s growing disconnect from nature.
This work stands as a prophetic meditation on humanity’s impact and the fragility of the natural world.
