About this artwork
Seven is known to be the number of creation, representing the live relationship between the human energies and the Divine world. The seven indicates the senses of a change after an accomplished cycle and of a positive renewal.
In this exhibition ’7X7X7’, I show 7 paintings each one is 7X7 feet in dimension. The concepts of these artworks will be about people seek perfection in their life; through their relationships, appearance and wealth. But, when… you look for perfection, you will never be content. You have to not be confused excellence with perfection which is related only to the Divine abundance.
What my figures over my canvases want to say: The vortex of seeking perfection is endless, and when you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.

Qais Al Sindy is an Iraqi-American multi-media artist versed in painting, installation, video, conceptual and performance art. His multi-cultural background directly involved the analytical vision of his work. In his paintings, Al Sindy explores how people connect to each other across divides of belief, both political and spiritual. He hopes his art will enable people share their unique experiences, opening new avenue to consolidate concepts of peace, hope and love.
