About this artwork
Red is the color of life. It's blood, passion, rage.Vermilion is menstrual flow and after birth. Beginnings and violent end. Scarlet is the color of love. Beating hearts and hungry lips. Roses, Valentines, cherries. Red is the color of rebirth. Crimson cheeks and spilled blood. Broken hearts, opened veins. A burning desire to find your real lover and stay with him/her.
In Passion in Red, I explore the powerful and multifaceted nature of human passion… through bold, dynamic brushstrokes and a vibrant color palette dominated by shades of red. The figure, fragmented yet emotionally present, emerges from the canvas as a manifestation of intense emotion—be it love, desire, or rage. The abstraction allows the viewer to immerse themselves in the raw energy of the piece, where the interplay of light and shadow suggests both the physical and emotional complexity of passion.

« I see my artworks, in general, as revealing the shutter of the outside world, and helping people to feel and share what is going on in their lives, in any part of this world. »
