About this artwork
This painting is part of my Destruction of War series.
The abandoned tank — once a roaring beast of battle — now lies silent, stripped of its power and purpose. It has become a corpse of metal, a witness to the madness of men. Its rust and decay speak louder than any victory could.
I painted it in muted, wounded colors — earth, dust, and ash — to let the silence of war breathe through the canvas. Yet behind its heaviness, a faint light emerges,… whispering of peace. That soft glow is not escape; it’s resilience — the quiet promise that beauty can rise even from ruin.
Through this series, I confront destruction not to glorify it, but to reveal what survives it: the fragile, enduring pulse of humanity.

« I see my artworks, in general, as revealing the shutter of the outside world, and helping people to feel and share what is going on in their lives, in any part of this world. »
