About this artwork
The Silent Rooster (2021)
Oil on Paper, 24 x 18 in
This painting belongs to two of my journeys: Black, White or Gray and Clash of Roosters. In it, I silence the morning’s cry, letting the rooster stand not as a herald of power but as a witness of fragility. Its voice is muted, yet its presence echoes—between light and shadow, between abstraction and form. For me, silence here speaks louder than sound, carrying the tension of survival, pride, and… unspoken defiance.

« I see my artworks, in general, as revealing the shutter of the outside world, and helping people to feel and share what is going on in their lives, in any part of this world. »
