About this artwork
I see Abraham as a shepherd leading his people to the land God promised him and his offspring. He is originally from Ur of Chaldean, which is now called Nassiriya- Dhi Qar Province, in which the Great Ziggurat of Ur was built by Ur-Nammu, the Sumerian King.
We the Human-being, are the visitors in the lives of others; we visit them and we disappear. On this canvas, I am showing three people, each from different faith, visiting an Arabian Sheikh.… The small three cups represent the good equal hospitality. Abraham based on the Holy Scripture, showed good generosity to his visitors, whom one of them told Him that upon his return next year, Sarah would have a son. In my painting I focused on the three visitors rather than the host, attempting to tell, we are the host.

« I see my artworks, in general, as revealing the shutter of the outside world, and helping people to feel and share what is going on in their lives, in any part of this world. »
