About this artwork

Dans cette œuvre, j'ai capturé l’intensité d’une ville après la pluie, où la lumière danse à travers les gouttes et les formes se mêlent dans un ballet chaotique. J’ai utilisé des coups d’huile vigoureux pour transmettre l’énergie fluctuante entre ombre et lumière. Cette peinture invite à ressentir la puissance du renouveau et l’émotion brute d’un instant suspendu dans le temps. Je suis né et j'ai grandi à Hanoi, j'aime cette ville, l'espace de vie,… le rythme de la jeunesse, le transfert prospère, la beauté de l'architecture, les transports, la culture, la cuisine et les vieux dortoirs, les fenêtres multicolores clignotant dans la nuit, les rythmes de la rue sont charmants et sympathiques. Ce sont des gens très gentils, sympathiques, gentils, où il y a de vieilles rues avec une ville millénaire, de la mousse ancienne, calme. Quelque part, il y a encore de nombreuses caractéristiques architecturales françaises qui se cachent dans les rues de Hanoi

Quan Le is an artist based in Vietnam whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He is currently living and working in Hanoi. For nearly eighteen years of oil painting, he paints what his heart can feel, not what eyes can see. Most of them are in an exciting impressionist style, with a blend of cubism, expressionism and semi-abstract contemporary. The themes of landscapes, architecture and urban areas are simpliﬁed to a certain extent, leaving most of it for memory. For him, painting is when he digs up the chaotic and fragmented memories of his poor, rugged and destitute childhood to bring the viewers to another joyful world, a neverland, a memory of the season far away.
