Summer is ecstatic with sunshine, tropical rains and torrential rain. After the heavy rain, the tropical sun shines everywhere, shining brightly. The sound of drawing is tumultuous, there is no peaceful summer. But this year summer is very different, quiet and quiet because of my city, social distancing.
The space seemed to thicken, everything was as dull as a dream. The whole city does not seem to be able to wake up, the rows of houses are silent,… people can only go out when they have tickets to buy food. The street was deserted, deserted like a ghost town, desolate and deserted.
The streets were deserted, only a few shadows were left at the end of the sky, the whole city struggled to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. A summer to remember.

Quan Le is an artist based in Vietnam whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He is currently living and working in Hanoi. For nearly eighteen years of oil painting, he paints what his heart can feel, not what eyes can see. Most of them are in an exciting impressionist style, with a blend of cubism, expressionism and semi-abstract contemporary. The themes of landscapes, architecture and urban areas are simplified to a certain extent, leaving most of it for memory. For him, painting is when he digs up the chaotic and fragmented memories of his poor, rugged and destitute childhood to bring the viewers to another joyful world, a neverland, a memory of the season far away.
