About this artwork

I just want to remember autumn and I let my heart decide that path.
The most beautiful memory season of the year in Hanoi City, when the flocks of birds fly back to nest, on the roads of gentle sunshine, the wind rustles softly, yellow leaves fall on the path. .
The roads become more poetic, the back-to-school season resounds with beautiful street cries.
When autumn has gradually entered the last days, the weather at the end of the hot season is… white again. The last days of autumn are about to turn to a sad and romantic winter, the leaves of Bang gradually turn dark red, darken and then fall quickly with the wind. Hanoi at the end of autumn is strangely beautiful, the smell of milk flowers is full of ecstasy, sadness hidden in the afternoon clouds.

Quan Le is an artist based in Vietnam whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He is currently living and working in Hanoi. For nearly eighteen years of oil painting, he paints what his heart can feel, not what eyes can see. Most of them are in an exciting impressionist style, with a blend of cubism, expressionism and semi-abstract contemporary. The themes of landscapes, architecture and urban areas are simpliﬁed to a certain extent, leaving most of it for memory. For him, painting is when he digs up the chaotic and fragmented memories of his poor, rugged and destitute childhood to bring the viewers to another joyful world, a neverland, a memory of the season far away.
