About this artwork
This painting is part of a suite dedicated to David Bowie. I paint mainly to music. If classical music helps me in the final stages, I happily listen to rock when I'm at the first draft. “Sound and Vision,” as David sang.

Rémi Jouandet is an award-winning artist based in France whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Canada and England. Over the past few years, his artistic expression has contentrated almost exluslively on the human figure. Jouandet creates intuitively and spontaneously, "spreading" color on several canvases in rapid succesion, returning later to "discover them", then adding the figurative elements. He primarily employs acrylics on canvas.
