About this artwork
This is a work from my semi-abstract period of 2000. It belongs to the series "From the Straight Line to the Curve." It was a period in which I attempted to translate into two dimensions the spatial envelope that surrounds us; the perception of our front depends on our back. It was a time when the transparency, pioneered in the 20th century by Roberto Matta, reappeared.
