About this artwork
In this work, I represent two symmetrical figures floating in a dark abyss, symbolizing the fragile balance of human existence. The arched and suspended posture of the figure expresses the duality between light and dark, strength and vulnerability.
The fragmented textures that partially cover the figure resemble scars, reflecting the marks of our experiences and memories. Using my innovative technique of Neophotorealism, I combine the precision… of photography and image transfer with the richness of traditional oil painting, adding depth and complexity.
The black and white "broken or incomplete" images contrast with the figure painted in realistic colors, symbolizing the tension between our visible wounds and hidden scars. I invite the viewer to explore the depths of the human soul and find beauty in imperfection and resilience that emerges from pain, encouraging introspection and empathy.
