About this artwork
The "Go West" project captures impressions from a hike on the Hexenstieg (Witches' Trail) from Thale in the eastern Harz Mountains to Osterode in the western Harz Mountains. Mystically inspired, perspectives shift. Nothing is as it seems, and nothing appears as it is. A multi-ton boulder by the wayside, seemingly set in a frame by a magician, could be a giant's amulet. I wanted to make this intense tension visible, so that it would bring energy and…
power to any space where it hangs. It should inspire the viewer to reflect and feel.
