About this artwork
I created this work to capture the tension between artificial luxury and modern superficiality. With this sublimated and tattooed Barbie doll carrying the reproduction of a mini Vuitton bag, she is the perfect Parisian. She is surrounded by fake glued dollars, logo of the famous Louis Vuitton brand, I wanted to reveal a world where appearance takes precedence over reality.
