About this artwork
A study in quiet intensity, this work captures the lingering warmth of connection - the traces that remain after the fire softens. Deep, smoky textures rise through layers of ochre and sienna, evoking scorched earth, heat, and memory. There’s a balance of stillness and motion, a suggestion of something once wild now smouldering beneath the surface.
Both grounded and ethereal, it speaks to the parts of ourselves that endure long after the flame.…
