About this artwork
This is a medium sized woven tapestry wall hanging "The Journey", which symbolises my personal journey and growth as a textile artist.
My goal is to make sustainable fiber art, therefore my artworks are made of upcycled materials from textile industries or with the fibre grown and processed in my own fibre farm and studio.
With its contrasting color scheme this tapestry brings tranquility and movement into your living area. The color combinations… make this wall hanging suitable for a wide variety of living spaces, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Fiber art wall hangings and specially woven tapestries add warmth, comfort, coziness, and softness to the interior design. Textiles also reduce echo and noise and transform your space in general. This abstract design leaves the theme open to the viewer, but it is inspired by the lines, textures and surfaces found in nature.
