About this artwork
My work fuses the styles of expressionism and realism through the use of acrylic paints to create a vibrant depiction of a misty forest. I wanted to capture the mysticism and tranquility that nature exudes in the misty morning hours. The blurred outlines of the trees and the gentle play of colors invite viewers to lose themselves in their own world of thoughts while feeling the silence and power of nature. This painting brings a calming energy to… any home, a touch of mystery and a constant reminder of the deep, silent beauty of the natural world.
Regina Fleck was born in 1967 in Guglöd, a picturesque village in the middle of the Bavarian Forest. She has been rooted in nature since her childhood. Growing up surrounded by the beauty and silence of the forest, she developed a passion for drawing and painting at an early age. The aesthetics of nature became her central theme and continues to shape her artistic work to this day. After graduating from high school, she decided to train as a medical assistant, without giving up her passion for art. It soon became apparent that her dynamic expression was best expressed on large canvases. Her style - both colorful and black and white - reflects the intensity of her emotions. The forest remains her place of power. For her, it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, which is expressed in her work.
