About this artwork
This oil on mirror started out as The Three Me's, a self-portrait of myself and my schizophrenic personalities. The more I gazed at the artwork while it was drying, I realized I neglected to give her a neck. She was all breasts! So, in jest of my error, I started calling her "The Mona Titty" and the name stuck. Reserved for Auction
A self-taught expressionist, Regina Jokubaitis transforms mirrors into reflective canvasses using her oil paints. Her unique "New Age Mirror" technique casts light onto the art, making viewers a part of the piece. Her work embodies an unconventional perspective, stirred by her days as a carnival worker. Her creations echo a joyful carnival atmosphere, radiating positivity that dances with a hint of her diagnosed bipolar schizoaffective disorder's ingenuity.
