Shaped by the ancient contrasts of Cairo, a city of noise and stillness, chaos and endurance.
Her work is built rather than painted. Layer upon layer of impasto, palette knife and fluid brushwork accumulate into worlds of tension and release, muted tones punctuated by sudden energy, stillness interrupted by chaos.
