About this artwork
This work is a tribute to Anatole Lapine, one of the most important automotive designers of his time.
With the Porsche 959, he created a vehicle that is not only considered a technological milestone, but also went down in history as a design response to the Ferrari F40.
For me, artistically staging the 959 for eternity meant elevating its design language and reinterpreting it emotionally.
The choice of the color violet was deliberate: it is… deeply rooted in the Porsche brand world and at the same time possesses a special, almost magnetic appeal – a sensual, almost erotic aura that elevates the object beyond its mere function.
