About this artwork
In creating this work, I wanted to capture the essence of autumn in an abstract language, using acrylic to play with evocative shapes and colors. Each element is designed to evoke the dance of autumn leaves twirling in the air, with warm tones ranging from bright red to golden brown, instilling a sense of warmth and renewal. This painting carries a lively energy, perfect for enlivening any space with its call to nature and change.

I'm a self-taught painter, and what sets me apart is my free and instinctive use of color, which in my work is layered to create dense textures and crowded urban landscapes. I began with more spontaneous and light-hearted works, then evolved towards a more conscious and critical approach. At the same time, I explore abstraction with works inspired by Pollock and Rothko. My Cities are born from abstract foundations. The City as a complex organism that reflects the contradictions of our time. My series explore three great fragilities: the vulnerability of cities to climate change, the wounds inflicted by man through wars and manipulated ideologies, and the inequalities between glittering centers and forgotten peripheries. I paint universal, non-geographic cities as a metaphor for the human condition: places that bear the hopes, scars, and tensions of our time.
